We are posting new photos on our Flickr stream daily. These are showing off our surroundings, giving a sense of what is here along with updating our properties. Please remember we will be starting to schedule photography tours/vacations soon. We also will be having other big news as well. Stay tuned! Add Comment In a previous post (3/14/10 Outdoor Activities abound on Azuero Peninsula) we have mentioned that there are plenty of activities to do here on the Azuero. Apart from the birding, where one can see birds ranging from chicken hawks, red-throated frigates, hummingbirds, dove species, woodpeckers, and up to 100 more species can be found easily and frequently. In Cerro Hoya 95 species of bird have been recorded including the threatened scarlet macaw, painted parakeet, teh king vulture, the fishing eagle, and the mangrove black hawk. There are two trips planned here in the near future. One will be to head into the heart of Cerro Hoya hiking to find nature, waterfalls and other delights. The second is a planned kayak trip around the tip of the Azuero Peninsula to explore the coastline and hidden beaches on the south side. We will keep you posted with news and photos from these excursions. One of the recent trips took us to Playa Restinque on the southern end of the Azuero Peninsula where we encountered great beaches, dynamic cliffs coming directly out of the water and the edge of Cerro Hoya as it meets the Pacific. Please refer to our Flickr site and our photostream under Panama Land Star. These are just a small selection of photos from the area. Enjoy these as they are only a small selection of what is involved in our Flickr site. Here at Panama Coast Property we are attempting to let potential clients see everything they need about the area to help them make educated, well-researched decisions on why they should choose the western Azuero Peninsula as their new home! Search for Panama Land Star on Flickr and you will see several sets of photos from each property. |
